Woods, Dixie Lee Hall
Dixie Lee Hall Woods, 73, died April 9, 2010, with her family by her side. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Woods of Salem, and daughters Nona Walker and husband Larry of Roanoke, Cindy Woods of Salem, and Amy Jarich and husband Peter of Floyd; grandchildren Rebecca Crockett, Ryan Walker, Jesse Walker and Emily Walker; her mother Hazel Callahan of Salem; sister Nancy Jones of Scottsville; and three great-grandchildren. She was a devoted member of the Green Hill Church of the Brethren and the local chapters of both the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. A graveside service took place at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg on April 12.
