Ward, Nelva Jane
Nelva Jane Ward, 93 of New Castle went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward W. Ward; parents James and Ruth Caldwell; and daughter B.J. Smiley. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Howard and Kimberly Ward; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Richard Whitlow; 12 grandchildren – Louwana Tortora and husband Steve, Tanya Lipscomb and husband Tracy, Ann Bostic and husband David, Alan Whitlow and wife Kimberly, Amy Ward and Larry Harlow, Jeremy Ward and wife Sarah; 11 great-grandchildren – Lucas and Madison Tortora, Lauren and Alex Lipscomb, Jesse Bostic, Lincoln and Bailey Whitlow, Elizabeth, Zoe, Wyatt, and Mia Ward. Funeral Services were held January 23 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Penny Wilson officiating. A private interment followed at the Ward Family Cemetery.
