Two charged in county burglaries

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office has arrested two men in connection to burglaries in Montgomery and Giles counties. Last week Investigators executed a search warrant at 1633 Keister’s Branch Road in Blacksburg and arrested Patrick Storm Harris, 21, of Christiansburg, and Randy Lee Bryant Jr. 30, of Blacksburg.

Both were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Charges were also placed against Bryant for possession of a firearm by a violent felon, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, burglary, grand larceny and possession of burglary tools.

During the execution of the search warrant, Bryant was linked to a total of four burglaries in Montgomery and Giles. More charges are pending.

Bryant is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bail.  Harris has been released on bond.

No further information is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
