This is Attic Productions’ first play for 2010.

This play was written by Mary Chase and is directed by Jayne Brill.

Performance dates are Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 4-6 and 11-13. Evening performances are at 7:30 and Saturday matinees are at 2:30.

Unfortunately for Elwood, nobody can see his large rabbit friend Harvey, causing quite a stir in the Dowd household.

His sister, Veta, is desperate to find a husband for her daughter, Myrtle Mae, and Elwood’s questionable mental state is making the task nearly impossible. Committing Elwood to a local sanatorium seems to be the only solution but accomplishing that goal turns out to be more difficult than originally anticipated.

In the end, Veta must decide if she wants to keep a loveable Elwood and his friend Harvey or accept a forever-changed Elwood without Harvey. “Harvey” won the 1945 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
