The boys will wrap up the pre-holiday schedule with a game at Eastern Montgomery today, Wednesday. Craig was home to Dayspring Christian on Monday and coach C.J. Crowder was hoping to pick up a win or two before the break.

“That would do a lot for our confidence,” said Crowder. “It’s always nice to get a win heading into a break.”

The Rockets lost two homes games last week against Narrows and Auburn. Against Narrows the Rockets dropped a 58-46 decision. Narrows jumped to an early 15-5 lead and Craig never caught up, although the Rockets got to within five at one point. Andy McCarty had 23 for Craig and Forrest Morris had 10.

Against Auburn the Rockets gave up 48 first half points as they fell behind 48-17 at intermission. McCarty had 22 as the Rockets fell to 1-6 on the season.
