Police identify accident victim
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office says a 42-year-old Pilot man died Saturday as a result of a one-car accident on High Rock Road. Lt. M.E. Hollandsworth said around 6:15 a.m., a vehicle driven by Paul Linwood Vaught appeared to have gone off the right side of the roadway where it struck a tree. Vaught was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant in the vehicle.
