Police ask help in finding how woman was fatally injured

ROANOKE COUNTY – Roanoke County Police are asking for help from the community in finding out how a young Elliston was fatally injured late night on May 12.

Police identified her as 31-year-old Tara E. Farley, who was found with severe injuries in in the 6200 block of W. Main Street – U.S. Rt. 11-460 – at 10:33.

Farley was pronounced dead at local hospital.

Detective A. Thompson said police are still investigating and are looking for anyone with information that may be related to this case. He asked for anyone with information related to her death to call him at (540) 777-8633.
