Mr. and Mrs. James Pietrzak of California, Penn. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Pietrzak to Micah Kobia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Kobia of Riner, Va.
After graduating from California Area High School in 1998, Holly received her B.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communications in 2002 from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Penn., and works as the New River Valley Bureau chief reporter for CBS affiliate WDBJ-TV in Roanoke, Va. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pietrzak, formerly of Connellsville, Penn., the late Arthur Corace, formerly of Pittsburgh, Penn., and the late Dorothy Corace, formerly of Ft. Myers, Fla.
After graduating from Floyd County High School in 2002, Micah received his B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2005 from Radford University in Radford, Va., and works as a police officer with the Blacksburg Police Department. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Kobia, formerly of sidney, N.Y., the late Fred Flanagan, formerly of Apopka, Fla., and Betty Flanagan of Apopka, Fla. An April, 2010 wedding is planned.
