Mother’s Day Tea will be Saturday

SALEM – Treat your mother to a couple of hours of elegance the afternoon before Mother’s Day, at a Springtime Tea for Mother’s Day, on May 11. The limited-seating tea will be from 2-5 p.m. at the Salem Museum in Longwood Park in Salem, located on East Main Street.

The tea-time menu will feature ham biscuits, tea sandwiches of pimento cheese, cucumber chicken salad and smoked salmon spread, truffles, chocolate truffles, mini cupcakes, and almond milk chocolate creme, as well as spiced tea and black tea.

Music and good company will go along with the tea and goodies. The cost for the Springtime Tea is $10 per person. Seating is limited and reservations are urged. Contact the Salem Museum at 540.389.6760 to make a reservation or for information, or email info@salemmuseum.org.
