Marsh-Grant wedding

Debbie Grant, the daughter of Wilbur E. and the late Nancy H. Grant of Salem, was wed to Jared “Jay” Marsh, the son of Larry and Pattie Marsh of West Newbury, Mass., on Sept. 18, 2010.

Debbie is a 1992 graduate of Salem High School and a 1997 graduate of Virginia Tech where she received a degree in art and graphic arts.

Jay is a 2001 graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

The wedding took place at Louis’ of Boston on the Boston Harbor.

The couple were married by best friend Nick Given, who had been granted a special license by the governor of Massachusetts to perform the ceremony.

Bridesmaids were Katie Denns Adams, Ashley Moody Reader and Courtney Marsh Jones. Brady Paul Jones, the bridegroom’s nephew, was the ringbearer.

The best man was Rob Adams, and groomsmen were Mike Jones and T.J. Hagan.

The bride’s father presented her hand in marriage. He was accompanied by his close friend, Linda Lemon of Salem.

Jay’s grandparents, Frank and Peg Marsh of Newbury Port, Mass., were also in attendance as were her sister and brother-in-law, Dee and David Parker, and their daughters, Kimmi and Kasey Parker, of Chesapeake, Va.

Debbie is an art director for Arnold Worldwide Advertising Agency. Jay is employed as a financial analyst for Oliver Wyman.

After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple returned to their home in Somerville, Mass.
