SALEM, VA. – The Country Music Association Award winning group Little Big Town and Hunter Hayes will come to the Salem Stadium on June 1 for a day-long Blue Ridge Music Festival.
Fellow Nashville recording artists Gloriana, Colt Ford, Greg Bates, Will Hoge, Sweetwater Rain and Virginia’s legendary party band, The Skip Castro Band, will round out the lineup.
Tickets – $35 for all day – go on sale this Friday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Salem Civic Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations and charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Ticket buyers can also upgrade for a limited number of VIP tickets.
Little Big Town quartet was named Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA Awards in November, and the hit, “Pontoon” off the No. 1 album “Tornado” was named the CMA’s single of the year.
Hunter Hayes took home the New Artist of the year at the CMA ceremonies.
Salem has played host to a number of major stars for stadium shows in the past decade, including Bob Diylan and Willie Nelson at Salem Memorial Ballpark in 2005, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert in 2006 and the Zac Brown Band at the Salem Stadium in 2011.
