The closest thing to a Buddy Boy available today can be found in a little place in Mt. Airy N.C. called Odell's Sandwich Shop. They have a double decker hamburger that is identical to the Buddy Boy (except it has a tomato slice) they call the Big Moe. It tastes identical to the Buddy Boy, specifically because of the sauce. That was the key to the unique flavor of the Longfella and Buddy Boy, and this place somehow has that same sauce. Just order it without the tomato, and extra sauce. You will be back at Lendy's
