Glosser, Richard J. Sr.

Richard J. Glosser Sr., 63, of Salem died February 16, 2010. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He worked for 36 years with GE/TMEIC, and with the local school system in the Junior Achievement program. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Maggie Glosser; children Rick Glosser Jr. and wife Nicole, Pam Boyer and husband Geoff, Corky Glosser, Wesley Glosser and Matthew Glosser; grandchildren Richard Glosser III (Joey), Michael Glosser and Keeley Glosser; siblings Reneé Eberhardt and husband Harold, Linda Sherred and husband Ronald, Roy Glosser and wife Karen, and Angela Seely and husband Dan. A funeral Mass was held on on Feb. 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Salem with Father Kevin Segerblom officiating. A reception followed at Roanoke College’s Wortman Ballroom. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Blue Ridge Cancer Center, 1906 Belleview Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24014.
