Glenvar’s Butch Church elected supervisors’ chairman

ROANOKE COUNTY – Catawba District Supervisor Joe “Butch” Church has been elected chairman of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors at the board’s organizational meeting Jan. 12.

Church represents Glenvar, Catawba and other areas of Roanoke County surrounding Salem.

Also at the meeting, newly elected Supervisor Eddie Elswick, who represents the Windsor Hills District, was chosen vice chairman.
