Family Dollar Store at East Vinton Plaza robbed
VINTON – The Family Dollar Store located in the East Vinton Plaza on Washington Avenue in the Vinton was robbed Wednesday, according to the Roanoke County Police Department.
At 12:24 p.m. Wednesday a white male entered the Family Dollar Store in East Vinton Plaza. The subject approached one of the cashiers and made a purchase. Upon completion of the purchase he presented a note implying he had a gun and demanding money.
After receiving an undetermined amount of cash from the cashier the subject fled the store on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
