On Friday, September 23rd, ODFD will be doing a demo and “Townsfolk Alley” shoot for the employees of the Town Of Vinton during their “Employee Picnic”!! The event will take place between “High Noon and 4pm”!!! “Old Dominion Fast Draw” (ODFD) is a sanctioned club of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association headquartered out of Fallon Nevada. Cowboy Fast Draw is the fastest AND fastest growing western shooting sport in the world! It is a timed shooting sport where contestants shoot against each other at steel targets with sensors on them to record the times. They use wax bullets and real single action revolvers while dressed in “Old West” attire.
ODFD has been in existence for 3 years and during that time, has grown to be the largest fast draw club of any kind in the entire world. They are headquartered out of Vinton, and run by Jeff Duncan as part of his corporation at Roanoke Budo located at 118 N.
