CCHS graduates Class of 2012
CRAIG COUNTY – Craig County High School graduated 49 members of the Class of 2012 under sunny skies on June 9. More than 200 parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends cheered them on from the stands at Walton F. Mitchell Jr. Field, as graduates received their diplomas and as their final action, tossed their caps in the air.
Principal Dan Bowman, who has been out of school recuperating, was present to congratulate the graduates. Teacher Jeanne Guthrie provided music for the procession. Jordan Persinger led the Pledge of Allegiance. Speakers were honor graduates Anna Smith and Emma Helm. Graduates Andy McCarty and Tia Gardner sang “My Wish.”
