The couple first met in high school but chose different paths upon graduation. After six years, they reunited by chance and a romance was kindled.

Michelle Dawn Harris and Shawn Scott Jones

The bride-to-be graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both Accounting and Finance. She is currently working for KPMG LLP, one of the Big Four accounting firms, in Roanoke.

The prospective bridegroom attended Radford University and is also a die-hard University of Virginia fan. He has been employed at Corning in Christiansburg for six years.

An evening wedding is planned for May 26, 2012, at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow in the Holiday Inn Banquet Hall in Blacksburg.

Hollie is the granddaughter of Kathleen and the late Michael H. Brightwell Sr. of Salem.

The couple serving in the United States Air Force and are currently in technical school at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.

Hollie is a 2008 graduate of Salem High School and is studying air traffic control. Zachary is a 2006 graduate of Plattsmouth High School and is studying R F communications.

Jackie is the daughter of Evelyn All and Gary Crawford, both of New Castle. She is a Craig County High School and National College graduate, and is employed by Roanoke County Department of Social Services.

Jackie All and Jeremy Thomas

Jeremy is the son of Linda and Jim Parker and Ray and Darlene Thomas, all of Covington. He is an Alleghany High School and West Virginia University graduate, and is employed by Mead Westvaco.

A September 2011 wedding is planned.

Katelyn is the daughter of Anthony and Laura LePore of Troutville. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and plans to graduate from Roanoke College May 2012.

Jeremy is the son of Rodney and Darlene Mowles of Salem. He graduated from Glenvar High School and is currently employed by Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News.

The wedding will take place at The Plantation on Sunnybrook in Roanoke.

Ashton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hickman of Tupelo, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Yenawine of Clarksville, Ind.

She is a 2007 graduate of Jackson Christian School and a 2010 graduate of Freed Hardeman University. She currently teaches third grade at East Elementary in Jackson, Tenn.

Luke is a 2007 graduate of Salem High School and a 2011 graduate of Freed Hardeman University. He currently serves as the youth minister at the Broad Street Church of Christ in Lexington, Tenn.

The couple will exchange vows on July 9 at Campbell Street Church of Christ in Jackson, Tenn. After the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Lexington, Tenn.

Victoria, a 2005 graduate of Glenvar High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Mass Communications from Emory & Henry College. She is currently employed as an account manager for First Financial Group of America.

Victoria Cundiff and Marshall Doss

Marshall, a 2002 graduate of Marion High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Emory & Henry College. He is currently employed as a defensive football coach at the college.

A December wedding is planned. The couple will reside in Abingdon.

Brooke is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Williams of Salem. She attended Hollins University and works as an assistant manager at Shakers Restaurant in Roanoke.

Nate is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Charles of Troutville and is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute. He is employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad as an Assistant Supervisor. A wedding is planned for Aug. 27 at the Hotel Roanoke.

Katie is a graduate of Salem High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in history and secondary teaching certification from the College of William and Mary. Katie is employed as a teacher by Botetourt County Public Schools.

Ryan is a graduate of Glenvar High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Roanoke College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University. He is employed by General Electric.

A July wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church in Salem.

Natalie is the daughter of William and Lucinda Gillespie of Tazewell. She is a graduate of the Madeira School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory and Henry College and nursing degrees from Gardner-Webb University and King College. Natalie is a critical care nurse with LewisGale Medical Center in Salem.

David is the son of James and Mary Coleman Arnold of Salem. He is a graduate of Salem High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory and Henry College and a master’s degree from Virginia Tech. He is a Geographic Information Systems Specialist with Marshall Miller and Associates in Bluefield, Va.

A summer wedding is planned.

Jennifer is a graduate of Salem High School and is currently employed by Hilltop Lanes in Roanoke.
