Carroll, Eddie Roger
Eddie Roger Carroll, 64 of Salem died December 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Oscar, Warren, Howard, Claude, Ralph and Carl Carroll. He was a US Air Force Veteran, worked for Rowe Furniture and Roanoke City School System for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Edina and Jeff Hamm; sons Roger and John Carroll; granddaughter Oksana Hamm; brother Wayne Carroll and wife, Sandra; sisters Ruby Yates, Dorothy Gibson and husband, Larry; Margaret Daugherty and husband, George, and Shirley Daugherty. Private graveside funeral services at will be held at a later date. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem is in charge of arrangements.
