Carr-Shingleton
Olivia Shingleton and Brandon Carr were united in marriage on May 21 by Christ Tucker at Woodland Place in Vinton.
Olivia is the daughter of the late Norma and Gene Ward of Salem. Brandon is the son of Eric and Rhonda Carr of Salem. He is the grandson of Doris Jones of Salem and the late Tommy Jones of Salem and Mildred Carr and the late Reggie Carr of Roanoke.

The bride was given in marriage by her sister, Jennifer Hodges. Sister Brianna Ward was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the sister of the groom, Jennifer Amonett, and best friend Kayla Sheppard.
The groom’s father was his best man. His groomsmen were his best friend Hunter Parks and brother-in-law Matt Amonett.
The reception was held in the Woodlands Reception Hall in Vinton.
The couple are residing in Salem after a honeymoon trip to Disney.
