Art on the Street
Children of all ages participated in “coloring” College Avenue in Blacksburg this weekend. Emma Johnson (in sunglasses), 3, of Pulaski, works intently on her masterpiece. Other artists designed their creation of the Hokie Bird, and students from New School and Harding Elementary also left their mark on the street. The works of art will remain on the road for at least a month before public works repave the street. Photos by Marty Gordon
