Meg Hibbert
Meg Hibbert has been editor of the Salem Times-Register and The New Castle Record since July 1999, and holds more than two dozen awards from the Virginia Press Association for feature writing, columns, business articles, health and environmental writing and education coverage. She and her husband, Bill, live in Salem and are avid University of Georgia Bulldogs.
ROANOKE COUNTY – Vinton Supervisor Mike Altizer was elected chairman of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors at the board’s reorganization meeting today, Jan. 7. Charlotte Moore, who represents the Cave Spring District, was elected vice chairman.
