BLACKSBURG – Blacksburg Middle School was evacuated today after school officials discovered weapons and ammunition on campus. BLACKSURG – Andy William Altizer, subject of a police manhunt, is now in custody. The Blacksburg Police Department was searching for Andy William Altizer, earlier in the day on Monday. Altizer was armed with a knife and is a sex offender, according to an alert released by the Town of Blacksburg.
