Town to begin crossing Walnut Avenue as part of the Glade-Tinker Creek Wastewater Interceptor Project

VINTON–The Town of Vinton will begin crossing Walnut Avenue as part of the Glade-Tinker Creek Wastewater Interceptor Project.

On Friday, November 16, Allegheny Construction plans to start work on the sewer line that crosses Walnut Avenue near 5th Street as part of the Glade-Tinker Creek Wastewater Interceptor Project.

This work is expected to start at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Friday and may continue into Saturday, November 17. At times, Walnut Avenue may be reduced to one lane of traffic and may be closed to all traffic for a period. There will be delays, so please plan your trips accordingly.

Town Offices in Vinton will be closed on November 22 and 23, 2012.

Refuse collection will be handled as follows: Monday routes will be collected on Monday 11/19/12. Tuesday and Wednesday routes will be collected on 11/20/12; and Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on 11/21/12.
